Our Story
About Central Valley Film Club
Hey there! I'm Earvin, founder of the Central Valley Film Club. For the past five years, photography has been my daily passion, my way of seeing the world anew. You know that feeling when you're just walking around, and suddenly something catches your eye? That's what I live for.

A lot of people think you need to hit L.A. or the Bay Area for great shots. But let me tell you, our Central Valley? It's a goldmine of untapped visual treasures. Merced, especially, has become more than just a home — it's my muse. When you really look up and around, you'll find character in every corner, history in every brick.
Our Mission:
Connecting through
the Lense
At Central Valley Film Club, we're on a mission to:

-
Showcase the unique beauty of Merced and the Central Valley
-
Build a vibrant community of local photographers and film enthusiasts
-
Provide accessible, fun opportunities for creative expression
-
Support and promote local businesses through our activities
You know how it is as a photographer — lots of solo time behind the lens.

We keep it simple and budget-friendly. In this economy, who needs another expensive hobby, right? Our walks are free, proving you don't need to break the bank to have a blast and unleash your creativity.

Imagine it like this: a leisurely mile-long stroll through downtown Merced, cameras in hand, discovering hidden gems and fresh perspectives together. It's amazing how differently we all see the same scene—that's the beauty of it.
