The 2nd Annual End of Summer Film Festival returns to Downtown Merced on September 26, 2026, for a night celebrating independent film, local creativity, and Central Valley storytelling.
Hosted at the historic Mainzer Theater in Merced, California, the festival brings together filmmakers, artists, and film lovers from across the Central Valley, including Merced, Modesto, Fresno, Turlock, and surrounding communities. Experience a diverse lineup of original short films created by Central Valley filmmakers, see their stories come to life on the big screen, and cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award.
Last year’s festival sold out two theaters and welcomed more than 300 attendees, and this year we’re coming back even bigger.
