Art / Photo Walk

Updated: Oct 6, 2024

As a photographer, I think it’s really important to host events like these photo walks because they bring people together and create a space for us to share ideas and get inspired. Photography can feel like a solo activity sometimes, but when we get out as a group, we learn from each other and push our creativity further. Plus, it’s a great way to connect with our local community and see things from different perspectives. At the end of the day, it’s all about having fun, growing as photographers, and celebrating the art together. This event was special for us because we were fortunate enough to collab with my good friend Patty (Kreepy Kawaii) not only is she an amazing artist, she was also an amazing tour guide for our art walk. We started our day at Cien Ojos Studio for some coffee from El Cid and waited for everyone to get ready. We lead the photographers on a route showcasing all the beautiful murals in Merced, Ca has to offer. Some murals that were forgotten had a spotlight that day. I think everyone that joined us that day left with some insights and appreciation to the art that Merced has to offer. I'm glad our community has been welcoming to our walks and I look forward to the new faces that join us. Thank you for being a part of it.
